Ordering Your Home & Guaranteed Materials
Viceroy guarantees the accurate supply of all necessary materials specified in your purchase contract to complete your home as designed, which is vitally important. Quotations from lumberyards and other sources often significantly underestimate the materials required to construct a particular design. Generic computer estimating and drafting programs usually cannot accurately estimate the complex roof system, custom window fenestrations and other special features called for in today's designs. “Allowances” are produced that will cover only part of your requirements and costly material shortages arise, which can adversely impact your construction budget.
This will not happen with Viceroy. A Viceroy home package is complete according to a detailed set of written specifications. If there are ever shortages, they will be taken care of promptly. We guarantee it.
Design & Engineering
You could spend thousands of dollars to develop the designs for your new dream home, but why? Build with Viceroy and you will have access to our professional engineering and custom home design team at no extra cost. With their expertise, you are able to create a custom home that will personify your family's desires and unique requirements, ensuring a custom home that meets your every expectation.
Our custom home design team first incorporates your ideas into a preliminary concept drawing including full-dimensioned floor plans and exterior elevations. Once you're completely satisfied, our in-house engineering team will analyze, review and certify your plan for structural soundness, calculate necessary roof structure and loading, and carefully and thoroughly determine all other technical requirements. During the final stage while blueprints are being prepared, our design team will produce all cross-sections, window and door schedules, floor system layouts, roof truss design and layouts, and other construction details.
Price Protection
Once you've decided to build a Viceroy home, we will guarantee the price of your material package for up to twelve months, which far surpasses the industry norm of thirty days. This completely protects you from costly fluctuations in the price of lumber and other building materials, helping to maintain your building budget and protect your family's finances.
